A quick bio

Vishnupriya is a researcher and insights strategist focused on ensuring we do more good than harm when organizations build for the future. She specializes in ethnographic approaches, emerging digital cultures, and participatory storytelling.

Most recently, she was a “Strategy Lead” at Gemic.

Over the last 14 years she’s worked at or with: University of Michigan, Instagram, Facebook, Jigsaw, Pivotal Ventures, GramVaani, Save the Children & Generations for Peace, among others.

She holds an PhD in Media & Communication Studies from the University of Michigan, a MSc in Contemporary India and a BA in Human Sciences, both from the University of Oxford.

She likes being on the move but is currently calling Washington DC home.
